in Two Locks (Oakfield), construction was started in 1860. It was
then opened/dedicated in
1861. Named after the Reverend Ebenezer Williams who
conducted the services. The building was extended in 1889 and again in 1903.
No, it hasn't moved. In those days the main village of the area was Llantarnam, way before Cwmbran Newtown was ever thought of. |
