saw the start of the site clearing for Barratt Homes' new Cwmbran
Development: St. Josephs [sic] Meadow. It will consist of
2,3,4 and 5 bedroom homes but as yet there is minimum detail from Barratt
Homes. Accessed from Llantarnam Road, this meadow is flanked by the back of Burtons Biscuits, the railway line and Court Road Industrial Estate. It appears to have the postcode NP44 3YL - which is also the postcode for Burtons Biscuits.

| Comment: | Nothing strange about seeing the familiar early-spring burst of the Magnolia tree. However, a few cold nights in mid April have shortened the bloom's glory. By 17 April, they were already fading and turning to a carpet of petals. | ||
